Hirelogix is a recruiting technology platform that gives users tools to source, engage and evaluate top candidates. It also acts as a recruiting network where users can help each other source talent, share contracts, transfer payment & track progress.
The Hirelogix team asked us to lead the design of their new hiring platform. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of the project from its infancy and work with the management team through all product, system and design challenges.
The project began with the objective of deeply understanding different hiring processes. We performed in-depth research with various recruiters (and their clients) to elucidate the various interactions and friction points that occur.
We gathered and synthesized this research into a customer journey that we could share and discuss with the Hirelogix team. This document revealed several opportunities within the experience/journey to improve and innovate.
Mapping user behaviours and task flows enabled us to discover key interactions the system needed to accommodate. It was also integral in determining the final system architecture.
With a better idea of the overall system architecture, we were free to develop and iterate on concepts by sketching on paper first - only committing to polished screen designs when confident in our decisions.
The platform is meant to leverage analytics, data mining and automation tools that enable its users to find hidden top talent - and convert them to job applicants. In addition, an on-demand recruiting network allows companies to elastically increase their ability to find and engage such talent.
The Hirelogix team is currently developing the platform internally and it is expected to released to the market in the near future.
